Well, I made it through the day without any sleep. I didn't even fall asleep during the Hall of Fame dinner at La Caille! It was a good dinner and I was glad that they actually served us this year. Last year they had it setup buffet style which was fine, but being served made it feel a little fancier.

I installed the IntenseDebate plugin for WordPress today. Let me know if you like it. You can now rate and track comments on this blog and with an account on IntenseDebate you could even track a user's comments across all blogs, at least the ones that use IntenseDebate. Hopefully this type of feature will catch on. One problem I'm noticing already is that this plugin conflicts with my inline comment editor and spellchecker. Thank goodness for the Google Toolbar.

<a href="#comment-24247" rel="nofollow">@Dave</a> -
That's funny. I have a gift certificate for La Callie, too, but I don't think I'll ever use it because it will probably only pay the tip, if that. I was there last night for the Special Olympics Hall of Fame Awards Dinner. They gave me and my wife tickets in lieu of some of the consulting work I did for them this year. It was worth it, especially to be there to see my old boss (former CEO of Special Olympics Utah) inducted into the Hall of Fame. Special Olympics athlete Brett Banford was also inducted. He's the guy who tried out on "So You Think You Can Dance" and I got to know him pretty well during my time at Special Olympics Utah. In fact, I was in a Unified Bowling League with him a few years back. I highly encourage involvement with Special Olympics. :D

I have a MySpace account, but I don't like myspace because pages tend to be trashy. I like Facebook a lot more, which I joined recently. I've found lots of friends there. I also have LinkedIn. The way I separate it is Facebook is personal and LinkedIn is business, which seems to be the way the sites are laid out anyhow. I tried to get into Twitter, but I just don't feel like posting to the world that way. Facebook is better for me because I know I'm posting just to my friends list.

What are you doing at La Caille? I have a gift certificate to it, but even though it looks generous, I don't know how much food it will buy there. ;)
